I received confirmation on Friday that the c-section is scheduled for tomorrow! Talk about short notice - it's a good thing I had already planned on Friday being my last day of work. So much for having some time to relax at home before Cassie arrives!
It's really difficult to believe that we will be on our way to the hospital tomorrow morning to meet our sweet baby. I really wish we could have gone to church this morning to squeeze in one last prayer but Chris had to be at work early, and in all honestly, I'm too exhausted to roll out of bed and take the drive to church...lame excuse, I know. On the bright side, I know that Mom and all of Mexico has said a prayer and probably have even lit a few candles by now to make sure all goes well tomorrow.....(you have to know my family). Geez, I can already feel the butterflies in my stomach, but then again, that may just be Cassie telling me she is running out of room in there.
Saying that, it will probably be some time before I post again, but when I do, I will officially be a MOM! I cannot believe our time is here......
