Sour Patch Kids

Is what I like to compare my nieces and nephews to because "first they're sour, then they're sweet." The only time I really get to visit with the oldest ones are when we all get together at my mom's for a family function, but that also means an overcrowded and chaotic Grandma's house. The kids are usually busy playing their video games and I'm busy chasing Cassie around so there isn't much time for interaction. And now that they have gotten older, the hugs and kisses are few and far between. No longer are the days of sweet hugs and kisses from toddlers, instead it's a bit of attitude and sass from 7 & 8 year old little people. Nonetheless, they still have a sweet side to them. They're spending their summer with Aunt Yaya and together they all worked on these birthday cards especially for Cassie. I thought it was the sweetest thing and these are definitely making it into the scrapbook.
