My first official Mother's Day, yay! It's been such a long day...I expected Mother's Day to be a bit more relaxing but I guess that is nearly impossible when we have a rambunctious 11 month old and trips to see visit both of our Mom's. And it probably doesn't help that I should really be asleep since we're going out of town tomorrow, but instead I just finished packing. Besides all of the chaos, I must say my Mother's Day went pretty well. My morning started off with 2 of my favorite gifts: a little bit of extra uninterrupted sleep and chocolate iced donuts! Well I will take that back because Chris did bring Cassie into the bedroom first thing this morning and sat her on top of me to wish me a Happy Mother's Day. After breakfast they presented me with the very best Mother's Day gift I could have asked for, well besides diamonds but maybe they're saving that gift for next Mother's Day {hint, hint Chris}. I got the cutest little piece of pottery handmade by Chris & CB along with 2 of the sweetest cards I've ever received. One from my hubby & one from my CB telling me what a great Mama I am. I'm seriously lucky to have those two. I hope everyone had a great day!
