I spent Saturday evening celebrating my 31st birthday with some good friends and family. We were worried the rain was going to ruin any plans we had to hang out in the backyard but luckily the rain held off most of the evening. My sweet hubby did an awesome job cooking some delicious food for all of us to enjoy {thanks Babe!} and it was nice to just hang out and visit with friends that I don't get to see very often. And Yaya, if you're reading this {which I know you are!} a BIG thanks to you too because as always, you were here to help us. Sometimes we don't know what we would do without you. I had a great time but was so tired that I didn't even have the energy to pull out the camera to snap any pictures. The best part of the night was seeing Cassie's reaction when it came time to sing happy birthday and watching her dive into the cake! I cannot wait for her first birthday party!
We lounged around this morning and decided to head out to the park for some fresh air but somehow ended up at the zoo. I did manage to break out the camera today and snap a few pics so here they are for your viewing pleasure:
