My poor Cassie, went in for her 2 month check-up yesterday and was treated like a pin cushion. Besides receiving 5 vaccinations, her appointment went well. The doctor thinks she is a tad underweight, so we'll have to start plumping her up with a few extra feedings. On the other hand, she's growing like a weed, already showing signs of having her Daddy's long legs. She did so well with her doctor, coooing and ahhhing back and forth. I kept thinking "poor baby, if she only knew what was coming..." Although the nurse was sweet, there was nothing nice about what she was about to do to Cassie. As tempted as I was to walk out of the room, I knew I had to stay strong for her. Chris held her the entire time while I rubbed her little head. She toughed it out, never letting go of her paci the entire time, even while screaming....ugh, does this ever get easy???
